I Made It Nice Funny Hostess Needlepoint Pillow

Some hosts want credit for the effort, and this hostess gift pillow hands it to them: "I cooked all day, I decorated, I made it nice" runs in pink letters across a pale green panel. A yellow-green ground of pink tulips with green leaves, plus pink piping, makes it as cheerful as a set table.

It is a 9 by 15 inch lumbar with a polyester needlepoint front and a purple cotton velvet back. Reality TV fans will recognize the line, and everyone else will simply recognize the person who worked hardest at the party.

Hostess gifts that last tend to be the ones that stay in the house after the guests leave, which is why a funny needlepoint pillow works where flowers wilt and the wine gets opened that same night.

Perfect for: hostess gifts, Thanksgiving hosts, Friendsgiving, housewarming gifts, Mother's Day, and dinner party thank yous.
